Cancellation Policy
1. Purpose This policy sets out the terms for booking and cancelling appointments, consultations, or property-related services with AG Exclusive Property Management Gold Coast. It ensures transparency, fairness, and compliance with Queensland law. 2. Booking All bookings (including property consultations, inspections, and appraisals) must be confirmed via email, phone, or our online booking system. Bookings will be confirmed in writing, with details of the date, time, and service. Tenants and owners are expected to provide accurate information when making a booking. 3. Cancellations by Clients (Owners/Tenants) If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours before the scheduled time. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur an administration fee, unless due to extenuating circumstances (e.g., illness, emergency). For tenants, cancellation of entry inspections or maintenance bookings must be communicated as soon as reasonably practicable in line with the Residential Tenancies and Rooming Accommodation Act 2008 (Qld). 4. Cancellations by AG Exclusive AG Exclusive reserves the right to reschedule or cancel a booking due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., urgent repairs, staff illness, safety concerns). In such cases, we will provide as much notice as reasonably possible and arrange a new time convenient for all parties. 5. Refunds & Fees Where a paid consultation or service is cancelled by AG Exclusive, any pre-paid fees will be fully refunded. Where cancellation is made by the client with adequate notice, no fee will apply. Where cancellation is made with insufficient notice, an administration fee may apply, provided this is disclosed at the time of booking and is consistent with Queensland fair trading principles. 6. Legislative Compliance This policy is guided by: Residential Tenancies and Rooming Accommodation Act 2008 (Qld) Fair Trading Act 1989 (Qld) Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2, Competition and Consumer Act 2010) All terms are applied fairly, consistently, and in compliance with Queensland law.
